Resurrection 2012

Michael & I were asked to chaperon Resurrection with our church, which is a youth event in Gatlinberg. I was excited because I went on this trip every year as a youth member myself and now Michael would get to see it too. We had a great time even though the temperature was FREEZING!

During our free time on Saturday I hung out with Michael & his group of middle school boys. They took me to the Stars Cars Museum, it was pretty cool in there and warm.

Building Progress

The new house is slowly progressing! Here are some pictures of our lot when they poured the footers.

We took Reece to see her new playground/bathroom. She is really excited!

"Our" Christmas

Michael & I celebrated Christmas together on December 26th. It was a great lazy day. We opened gifts, ate breakfast, and then went shopping for Christmas decorations for the new house. It was a wonderful day!

Michael's stocking lute...yep he got Superman Boxers.

And I got NUTELLA! Wonderful husband, I mean Santa.

Random Pictures!

Two random photos I found & thought I would share. When doing laundry, I found this shirt actually tucked into the shorts straight from the dryer. I wish our dryer would match all of our clothes like this!

And did you know that Mr. Laymon can sew!?

Christmas Day (Night)

After I worked on Christmas Day, Michael picked me up and we headed to my dad & stepmoms. While I was at work Michael visited with his Grandparents, Aunt, & Cousins but I forgot to send the camera so unfortunately we don't have any pictures from that time.

What Christmas is ALL about...Jesus' Birthday.
What are you studying there Laymon?
3 of my sweet nephews...should mention here that they were all wrestling in the floor...boys!
And yes, Christian learned a valuable lesson...do not put your fingers in Carson's mouth! This was 1 second before the bite.

Christmas Eve 2011

This year I had to work on Christmas so we changed things around a bit to allow me to participate ( I LOVE my family!). We spent Christmas Eve in Cleveland.

Mom made us all aprons and had them monogramed.
Brunch...one of my favorite Christmas traditions! We eat breakfast casserole,
cheese grits, coffee cake, & slush. If you don't know what slush is, you are missing out!

Ashley bought Michael a poker set, one of his favorite gifts ;-).
