Drew's Baptism, June 9th 2013

On Sunday we baptized Drew during our church service.  It was such a special day to share with our church family but also with our actual family.  We committed to raise you in the church and be a Christian example to you and we pray that you will grow up to love and serve the Lord too.

Pastor Brian baptized him.  He is a good friend of Daddy & Mommy.

More Family Time!

 Last weekend Drew got to meet his Poppy, Aunt Danielle, & Cousin Annie for the first time!  We were so excited to have them here with us for a fun filled weekend!

Daddy's Birthday!

We wished daddy a Happy Birthday with this card sent to his phone.  He loved it!

The weekend before his birthday we went with some of our family to Lupi's Pizza to eat & celebrate.  The food was delicious!  I forgot my good camera so these are iphone pictures, not the best quality!

Then on Michael's actual birthday we went bowling and to dinner at Chili's.  It was a fun date night!

He is showing the score was tied, for about 5 minutes.  Then he beat the stew out of me!

Happy Birthday Michael!  I hope 34 is the best yet!  Love you!

Drew is 1 month old!

Drew is One month old today.

(okay really this post is LATE, but the information is right!)

Drew - what are you up to these days?

• You started smiling today!
• You love to take a bath, daddy usually gives you a bath and we listen to praise music
• You have rolled from your tummy to your back 3 times, but we still think its a fluke.
• You love to stare at the window blinds when the sun is coming in, this is how I get a shower most days when daddy is at work.  You also love to stare at ceiling fans.
• You started getting up every 2hrs at night to eat, going through your 3wk growth spurt, mommy hopes this ends soon!  I am still feeding you every 2hrs during the day, I have to wake you up most of the time.
• You are still wearing newborn clothes
• We started using cloth diapers last week (prefolds & covers).
• Your eyes are dark blue, we wonder if they will stay blue or be brown.
• You love to ride in the car.  We have taken you to dinner once and target twice.
• You love to take walks around the neighborhood and your daddy loves it too!
• I am LOVING staying home with you and already dread going back to work (and its still 3 months away!)

Story Time

Story time is one of my favorite parts of the day.  My two boys lay on the bed or sit in the rocker and read.  It is so sweet to watch them together.  Drew just stares at his dad like he is following every word.  I am so blessed to have these boys in my life!

Drew is one blessed little boy to have such a large family!  We tried to capture each visitor...and this is only his family members.  There were equally as many friends!  Thank you each for loving our family.
